The Gallery is available for hire if it is not being used, and a number of organisations and individuals already make use of it in this way. The Gallery Hire Officer, Mrs June Scott, will be pleased to give prospective users details of the accomodation available and the hire charges. The Gallery is being used for a number of other exhibitions each year, and also for other purposes such as meetings, receptions and classes.
Members get the Gallery free of charge if they want to mount an exhibition, and only pay commission on sales (20%) or a small sum to cover the cost of heating and lighting if there are no sales.
Including the Friday evening meetings, exhibitions, workshops and painting classes, the use of the gallery has almost quadrupled in the last three years.
