Unfortunately due to insufficient bookings the trip arranged to Aberdeen Art Gallery had to be cancelled.
However, a very successful trip to Pittenweem took place on Saturday 05 August . Visit Organiser, Val Beveridge reports: 19 members enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Pittenweem Art Festival. The Sidlaw bus company were prompt and efficient and the weather was glorious. The art venues were plentiful and inspiring, including Angus MacDonald and Liz Yule, Jim Dewar, John Stoa, Gina Wright and the Graham Street Group. (Hopefully, Fiona Haldane now has plenty of contacts for next year’s Friday evening programme.) Packed lunches were not required as there were various catering outlets around the village. We split into small groups but kept bumping into each other as we made our way around the numerous exhibitions. The word on the bus coming home was that everyone had had a “brilliant day”!

2. A tired but happy crowd ready for the journey home.
